also a Rodriguez who has always been scared of diving head first; have always wanted to conquer that fear and I love that you're doing it. Thank you for the inspiration.

I just come from having a 15 day demenagement…the french word for moving feels the right term for what I just had to go through…I moved out of a house I’ve lived in for 11 years. My dream home. A blessing to my life. So your slow times comes along as a soothing small blessing. thank you for this. jump.
I always think of the chapters of my life through the homes I’ve had, and letting the really special ones go is always so hard. Sending love and good vibes for your new chapter!
That was a good dive! I’m also 35 and had an American Apparel moment in my early 20s. Interesting times, love what you’ve accomplished and your writing is so calm.
Fellow immigrant, moved for the 4th time in 3 years. Without counting the previous moves escaping communism ( fellow Latin American too) this found me at the right time and I resonate deeply. Thanks for sharing. Also a fan of Gil.
As a fellow fearful diver, seeker of slowness, anxious artist, and (current) inhabitant of the hills of echo park, I very much look forward to reading your earnest, yet beautiful, words 💚 (great form, btw!)

Like anything, it’s all in repetition. You go again and again, and the fear loses its grip on you.
